This Privacy Policy explains how Hamyor (“Hamyor”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), operated from Tajikistan, collects, uses, discloses, and safeguards information when you use our website and our AI-powered customer support service (the “Service”). The Service lets businesses connect messaging accounts — including Telegram, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger — so an AI assistant can answer their customers’ messages.

1. Who is the data controller

For account and billing data of our business customers, Hamyor is the data controller. When our business customers connect their messaging accounts and end-customers message them, those businesses are the controllers of their end-customers’ conversations, and Hamyor acts as a data processor on their behalf.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: name, email address, password (stored hashed), workspace settings, and country.
• Bot configuration: business name, working hours, knowledge base content you provide, and bot settings.
• Messaging data: messages exchanged between connected messaging accounts and their customers, including message text, sender identifiers, and timestamps, processed to generate replies.
• Platform credentials: access tokens and identifiers you authorize us to use to connect Telegram, Instagram, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger accounts.
• Usage and technical data: log data, IP address, browser type, and basic analytics needed to operate and secure the Service.

3. How we use information

• To provide, operate, and maintain the Service.
• To generate AI replies, including retrieving relevant knowledge-base content and sending message content to our AI model providers solely to produce a response.
• To authenticate users and secure accounts.
• To provide analytics and reporting to our business customers.
• To communicate with you about the Service and respond to support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations.

4. Data from Meta platforms

When you connect an Instagram, WhatsApp, or Facebook Messenger account, we access only the data necessary to receive incoming messages and send replies on your behalf, in accordance with Meta’s Platform Terms and Developer Policies. We do not sell this data, and we do not use it for advertising or any purpose other than operating the Service you requested.

5. Sharing and disclosure

We share information only as needed to run the Service:

• AI model providers (e.g., OpenAI, OpenRouter) to generate replies. Message content is sent for processing and is not used by us to train models.
• Infrastructure providers for hosting, database, and email delivery.
• Messaging platforms (Telegram, Meta) to deliver messages.
• Legal authorities when required by applicable law.

We do not sell personal data.

6. Data retention

We retain account and configuration data for as long as your account is active. Messaging data is retained to provide transcripts, analytics, and ongoing service, and is deleted upon account deletion or upon a valid deletion request, subject to legal retention requirements.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data, including encrypted transport, hashed passwords, and access controls. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. International transfers
